The Druid Pub, Cambridge MA. At the heart of Inman Square in Cambridge, tucked between Boston & Somerville, The Druid has become an oasis for traditional Irish music. Owned & operated by Mikey Crawford, a native of Ennistymon in Co. Clare, its connections to, & reverence for, Clare’s musical heritage are clearly evident as soon as you enter. Down through the years we’ve been lucky enough to have had some of the best Irish musicians either side of the Atlantic settle themselves into the corner of our establishment & play their hearts out. This recording comes from a great evening of celebration we had to launch our CD 'Live at the Druid'. It captures the people & personalities, the fun & the craic, & most of all – the warmth of character that has helped establish the Druid as one of Boston’s great Irish music bars. Thanks to our friend Sam Graff who shot and edited all video footage. Check out his website @ http://smallgiraffes.com/ Check out the album: https://thedruidpub.bandcamp.com/releases
